2015 PoY leader Dzmitry Urbanovich is GPI Player of the Month for March 2015

Congratulations go out to Dzmitry Urbanovich – Global Poker Index Player of the Month for March 2015…

What a month for Dzmitry Urbanovich (GPI#117). Forget the month, what an incredible 10 days of work for the young man from Poland!

Already off to a fine start to 2015, Urbanovich was the star attraction during the EPT Malta Festival, collecting six Top 10 finishes – four of them WINS! Urbanovich started things off in style winning the High Roller event for the biggest cash of his career, €572,300! But he was far from done, winning three other events including the €200 buy-in Crazy Pineapple Turbo event to close off an amazing Festival!

The six EPT Malta scores were not Urbanovich’s only scores for the month, he started March off strong finishing 24th at partypoker WPT Vienna in Austria.

As previously mentioned, Urbanovich has been trending all season, having already hit the 13-score cap for the 2015 GPI Player of the Year race, including side event victories at the 2015 PCA in the Bahamas and Eureka Rozvadov in the Czech Republic.

Any new score for the remainder of 2015 will have to best the 10.11 points he picked up winning the Crazy Pineapple tournament in Malta. In fact, 3 of Urbanovich’s 13 scores this year are under 100 points, so, he still has plenty of wiggle room left and will be able to pad his lead on a few different occasions later this year.
