Baime Wins MSPT, Updates for LSOP and Macau Millions

Ken Baime Wins MSPT Majestic Star

The Mid-States Poker Tour Majestic Star Main Event offered players a $1,100 NLHE tournament in Gary, Indiana over the weekend.

The field consisted of 301 entries, and the top 36 players were paid from the prize pool. Action continued on Day 2 until Ken Baime claimed victory.

Results:

1st place: Ken Baime ($77,681)

2nd place: Leon Morford ($42,504)

3rd place: Brian Zimcosky ($28,141)

4th place: Fadi Hamad ($19,054)

5th place: John Simon ($14,657)

6th place: Mike Deis ($11,725)

7th place: Allen Lanier ($10,260)

8th place: Kou Vang ($8,794)

9th place: Tony Pena ($7,328)

LSOP Millions Panama Continues

The Latin Series of Poker was in Panama City for the $850 NLHE Main Event with a $1 million guarantee. Day 1A completed with 27 players and Jose Barbero as the chip leader with 336K.

Day 1B featured players like Leo Wolpert and Carter Gill. Play stopped with 22 players and Panama Idagarra in the lead with 252K.

Macau Millions Halfway Through Starting Flights

PokerStars LIVE in Macau hosted the 2014 Macau Millions, which started last Friday. The HK $2,200 NLHE Main Event offered a HK $2 million guarantee, reentries, and six starting flights.

Day 1A brought in 134 players and ended with 10 players. Mikal Blomlie led the group with 233K chips

Day 1B added another 157 entries and ended with 11 remaining. Tai Tan took the overall chip lead with 364,500 in his stack.

Day 1C took on 139 more entries for a total thus far of 430. That night ended with 10 players and Svyatoslav Dvornikov in the lead with 219,500.

Day 1D is scheduled for Wednesday.
