Daily WSOP: Event #4 and #5 Seat Assignments, Chip Counts and GPI Rankings

Congratulations to Trevor Pope (GPI#208) and Charles-Alexandre Sylvestre (GPI#23851) on winning bracelets on Saturday!

Two more bracelets are on the line today:

In Event #4 – NLH Six-Handed – another quality bunch of players will take their seats at the ESPN Mothership in hopes of winning the coveted golden bracelet.

Musa “Mike” Mustafa (GPI#2777) will start the day as the chip leader. The seven-handed final table will also feature two GPI100 members as American stand-out Keven Stammen (GPI#73) and German star Manig Loeser (GPI#86) are both gunning for their first WSOP bracelet. For Stammen, it’s a shot at bracelet #2.

Former WSOP Main Event Champion Joe Cada (GPI#598) hopes to rekindle his 2009 Main Event magic and pick up his second bracelet later today.

Event #5 – Omaha/Seven-Card Stud Hi-Low 8-or Better will also crown a champion later today as big names highlight final day play here at the Rio.

Earlier this week, we reported that Daniel Negreanu (GPI#5) had reached the GPI goals he had set for himself last September. Well, Negreanu keeps on making headlines as he is in contention here in this event, hoping to grab his second WSOP bracelet of 2013 and increase his lead atop the WSOP Player of the Year leaderboard.

Speaking of red-hot poker players, David “Bakes” Baker (GPI#199) hopes to feed off his spectacular run in the PokerStars SCOOP Series and earn a bracelet in back-to-back years here in Las Vegas.

George Danzer (GPI#520), one of the most selected players by FPM Fantasy Poker Managers in the WSOP All-Events League, Mike Gorodinsky (GPI#875) and recent NBC National Heads-Up Champion Mike “The Mouth” Matusow (GPI#981) are just a few others names also in contention here on Sunday:
