EPT Prague Final Table Preview

A trio of stars, including the man who looks to have won the GPI Player of the Year race, headline the EPT Prague final table…

UK DUO SET FOR BATTLE

Max Silver GPIIt didn’t take long to find our final eight players at EPT Prague on Tuesday. Germany’s Julian Track will take the chip lead into final table play but there is a pair of UK pros – who rule the roost both live and online – who are right behind Track.

Both Max Silver (GPI#210) and Stephen Chidwick (GPI#61) will attempt to pickup their first ever EPT title on Wednesday. Silver, who won the UKIPT Isle of Man High Roller event last month, will earn yet another Top 10 finish this season. In fact, this will mark Silver’s eighth straight Top 10 cash in a row; the last time he cashed an event outside the Top 10 was at the PCA at the beginning of the 2013 season.

For Chidwick, it’s another attempt to win the first major tournament on the live tournament circuit. Chidwick, who finished third earlier this festival in the Eureka Poker Tour Main Event. Known as “stevie444” online, he has accumulated over 3.8M USD in online winnings according to our friends at PoketFives.

SCHEMION SURGES

Ole Schemion GPIIt seems that all everyone is talking about in Prague is Ole Schemion (GPI#4). The German superstar is about to steal the title of GPI Player of the Year away from Daniel Negreanu (GPI#1) when it looked like Negreanu had all but wrapped up the title coming into Prague.

Schemion, who recently turned 21, will have all eyes in the poker world pointed straight in his direction when the 2014 season as he will be expected to run the table anywhere he plays given his performance on tour during his first two seasons.
