GPI First Look: WPT Venice Carnival

While the California Swing is in full effect in America, the European WPT calendar heats up with the presentation of the WPT Venice Carnival:

CARNIVAL TIME IN VENICE

Rocco Palumbo GPISome of Italy’s best are set to host the poker world as the Gioco Digitale.it WPT Venice Carnival is already underway at the world-famous Casino di Venezia in Venice, Italy.

WPT National Venice is currently underway. The event, which attracted 379 runners, is currently deep into Day 3 play. National High Roller action is also ongoing.

Monday marks the start of the WPT Main Event where Italy’s own Rocco Palumbo (GPI#277) is set to defend his title. Palumbo’s victory at the WPT Venice Grand Prix was the second major win of his career. In 2012, Palumbo outlasted over 2,900 other players to win his first WSOP gold bracelet at the 43rd World Series of Poker in Las Vegas.

WPT LIVE SHOW W/JESSY MAY RETURNS
