GPI300: No movement at the top; Gregg continues to climb

Things are quiet at the top as our Top 10 remains the same for another week … meanwhile, WSOP and WPT Champion Anthony Gregg is on the rise again …

Steve O'Dwyer GPISteve O’Dwyer (GPI#1, =) remains the top dog for the fifth consecutive week as the Top 10 remains exactly the same as it was last week. O’Dwyer is expected to play the EPT Dublin Festival which kicks off today in the Irish capital.

Meanwhile, a familiar name is pushing up the standings in 2016 as Anthony Gregg (GPI#125, +133), who holds 2/3 of Poker’s Triple Crown, is up 397 spots in the rankings since the start of the year.

Gregg’s season started with a runner-up finish to former World #2 Mike Watson in the Main Event at the 2016 PCA in the Bahamas. He followed that up with an 86th place finish at the WPT Borgata Winter Poker Open and headed to Las Vegas over the weekend and final tabled a Aria High Roller event.

Congratulations to WPT Borgata Winter Poker Open finalist Matthew Wantman (GPI#203) and Boragata WPO side event winner Rex Clinkscales (GPI#257) who each enter the GPI300 fo the very first time of their careers this week.
