GPI300: Volpe, Chidwick switch spots; Rast enters Top 10

Make it four weeks in a row atop the GPI World Poker Rankings for Byron Kaverman (GPI#1, =). Kaverman has one result so far at WSOP Europe, which is currently taking place in Berlin, however, that score did not earn him any extra points in the standings.
Two other star player currently competing at WSOP Europe, American Paul Volpe (GPI#5, +2) and UK star Stephen Chidwick (GPI#7, -2) have traded places this week, each hoping for one final result in the WSOP High Roller event will help them push towards the top of the rankings.
Brian Rast (GPI#10 CB, +2) makes his long-awaited debut in the Top 10 this week. The 2015 Super High Roller Bowl Champion had been inching closer to the lead group in recent weeks – he finally breaks through this week.
Congratulations to Dean Baranowski (GPI#298 CB) who enters the GPI300 for the very first time of his career. An 11th place finish in a No-Limit Hold’em prelim event at WSOP Europe allowed Baranowski to move to a career-best #298.
