Pros to Improve Charity EV

Poker and charity is a winning combination and thanks to the efforts of some forward thinking poker players that cocktail got even better recently.

Raising for Effective Giving (REG) was recently set up by a small team of pros, including Igor Kurganov, Liv Boeree and Philipp Gruissem, with the aim of thinking “rationally” and improving the EV of giving money to charity.

Based on the principle of “effective giving”, REG wants to maximise the expected value of each donation through research, analysis and discussions with experts and think tanks.

The project is calling for members of the poker community to donate 2% of their gross quarterly poker winnings to the project in an effort to help some of the most deserving charities in the world.

Tuna Takes WPT Titles in London
