Joe Kuether earns GPI Player of the Month nod for April

Joe Kuether GPICongratulations go out to Joe Kuether – Global Poker Index Player of the Month for April 2015…

Las Vegas, Florida and Atlantic City – success on the cross-country tour earned Joe Kuether (GPI#13) honors for April. Kuether’s month-long journey saw him collect four cashes along the way.

First stop? The Venetian in Vegas as Kuether would go on to pickup a 14th place finish in the Deep Stack Extravaganza II Main Event.

It was then time to take the show on the road again as Kuether made his way to Florida to play the WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown. Although the Wisconsin man didn’t cash in the WPT event, he did earn a Top 10 finish in a 2K Six Max side event.

Finally, Kuehter would set up shop at the Borgata in Atlantic City. He would first final table the Borgata Spring Open, finishing in sixth position. A week later, he added another AC score, winning the No-Limit Hold’em 8-Handed side event.

His four April cashes allowed him to add over 780 points to his Player of the Year totals and two of those scores have helped him reach the Top 15 in the GPI World Poker Rankings.
