Little One for One Drop Result, Sirionas Claims GUKPT Title
Igor Dubinskyy’s Big One Drop Win
The final final table of this year’s World Series of Poker came to a close earlier today after Igor Dubinskyy took down the Little One for One Drop.
The $1,111 tournament welcomed an impressive 4,496 runners the $1,111 and after five days of action it was the Ukrainian Dubinskyy who claimed the $637,539 top prize.
After outlasting a slew of world-class players, including Antonio Esfandiari, Daniel Negreanu and Eric Baldwin (who made it all the way to the final table), Dubinskyy eventually bested Theodore Driscoll in a swift heads-up battle.
Having started with a 2:1 chip lead, Dubinskyy gradually edged out Driscoll over the course of 16 hands.
Eventually Dubinskyy was able to clinch the title and a bumper payday after his straight (with 5h 6h) was enough to best Driscoll’s trip threes.

Vaidas Sirionas Tops GUKPT Cardiff
In the shadows of this year’s World Series of Poker, the GUKPT visited Cardiff last week for its latest £500 Main Event.
Kicking off on Wednesday and welcoming 177 players, the Main Event had a £100,000 prizepool but when the chips were down it was Vaidas Sirionas who stood victorious.
The circuit regular drove to the tournament with Mick Corrigan and as fate would have it they both managed to make it to the final table.
After seeing off a slew of players and weaving past seven players on the final table, the two players naturally agreed to split the remaining prize money 50/50 before playing for the title.
Having locked up £24,000, two players swapped the chip lead multiple times before Sirionas’ pocket queens were able to best Corrigan’s Ac Qd in a final showdown.
