May 17, 2017 World Poker Rankings Update

THIS WEEK’S NOTEBOOK

›› Fedor Holz (World #2) returns to #2 in the World for only the second time of his career. The last time he was #2 was last June, a week before the start of his record 30 consecutive week run as the #1 ranked player in the World

›› After falling out of the GPI300 earlier this year, WPT Amsterdam runner-up Louis Salter (World #120) has returned in a big way recently – reaching his career-best ranking this week

›› Former World Top 10 Juha Helppi (World #97) enters the Top 100 for the second time since the start of 2016

›› Although there are no first-time entries into the GPI300 this week, five players make a return to the 300, including partypoker Million North America Champion Jean-Pascal Savard (World #198), who returns to the top group for the first time in 2017
