October 2014 Poker Player of the Month: Frederik Jensen

Frederik Jensen GPICongratulations go out to Frederik Jensen – Global Poker Index Player of the Month for October 2014:

A strong performance at the EPT London Festival sees Frederik Jensen (GPI#231) earn the title of GPI Poker Player of the Month for October 2014.

Jensen scored four times at EPT London, starting with a 3rd place finish in the UKIPT High Roller event for his biggest cash of the series, £52,200. His London scores allowed him to add a grand total of £91,750 to his bankroll.

The 2012 EPT Madrid Champion has a total of 9 cashes on tour this season, including a victory at Unibet Copenhagen in his native Denmark in March.

Jensen has totaled over $2.6M in winnings in his career, cashing in 36 total events on the live tournament poker circuit.

With a trio of cashes at WSOP Asia-Pacific, Sam Higgs (GPI#907) is October’s runner-up. Higgs’ three scores including his very first World Series of Poker bracelet victory in the $5,000 Pot-Limit Omaha event. The win earned the Aussie the biggest score of his career, $127,843 Australian dollars.
