Passing of Poker Pro Johannes Strassman Confirmed
We are very sad to report that the body of a person found in the river Ljublianica in Ljubljana, Slovenia was indeed the body of Johannes Strassman, this according to a Facebook post added by Strassman’s close friend Duc Ngo, who travelled to Slovenia yesterday to meet with members of Strassman’s family.
“Dear friends,
The police just contacted us and confirmed us that the DNA test was positiv and that the dead body is our friend Johannes. I am so sorry and sad to tell you this bad news. I am on the way with his mother (to) the Police station to get the final details.
RIP Johannes Strassmann”
Strassman was reported missing last Saturday after he had intended to meet up with friends in Slovenia.
There are no further details on this story yet, but it is indeed a story that has touched the whole poker community. We wish to extend our deepest condolences to the Strassman family.
