Adrien Allain is a young French poker player who made his first live-event cash in 2009. In the first 2 years, he cashed in 16 events including 4 WSOP events, made 10 final tables, won 3 events, and earned over $800,000.
Adrien made his first live-event cash when he was 23 years old at the PKR $500 NLHE Main Event Live in London, where he finished 6th for $4,250. Playing online at PKR Poker, Adrien qualified for the 2009 APT Macau Main Event in a $5 online satellite. His second career cash came at that event when he won the HK$32,000 NLHE APT Main Event for HK$3,035,000 and a trophy.
In 2010, Adrien cashed at the Open de France Mandelieu La Napoule, and finished 6th in the €2,000 NLHE Main Event for €17,337 at the Evian Poker Open, Rhone-Alps. At the WSOP, he cashed twice, making the money in the Main Event for $21,327.
After the WSOP, he finished runner-up in the €1,500 NLHE Main Event at the Barriere Poker Tour Deauville, earning €46,500. Adrien also cashed that year at the WPT Main Event in Amneville, and the Barriere Poker Tour Grand Final Enghien.
As of October, Adrien had cashed 7 times in 2011. He cashed at the France Poker Series and the Team Poker Cup in Paris, before winning the Cannes Hold \\\\\\\’em Series €1,800 NLHE event, worth €51,500.
At the EPT San Remo, Adrien finished 4th in the €2,000 NLHE event for €86,100. He then won the €500 NLHE Deepstack at the Barriere Poker Tour Dinard to take home €5,600. At the 2011 WSOP Europe in Cannes, Adrien finished 5th in the €2,500 NLHE 6-Max for €46,250, and took 14th in the €3,000 NLHE Shootout event to earn €6,913.
