Guillaume Darcourt

Guillaume Darcourt is a French poker player who made his first live event cash in 2007. From 2007 to October 2011, he cashed 17 times, made 5 final tables, finished in the money twice at the WSOP, won a WPT event, and earned over $800,000.

In 2007, Guillaume cashed for the first time in his hometown of Paris, by winning the €500 NLHE at the Hold’em Series for €16,780. His other cash that year was at the EPT Dublin, where he made the final table and finished runner-up in the €200 NLHE for €6,220.

Guillaume cashed twice in 2008. He cashed at the No-Limit Hold ‘em Planet 50 Cercle Gaillon Tournament in Paris, and finished 12th in the €8,500 NLHE for €24,500 at the Partouche Poker Tour in Cannes.

In 2009, Guillaume cashed at the Euro Finals of Poker in Paris, the WPT Marrakech, and finished 12th in the €2,000 NLHE at the EPT for €6,100.

To start 2010, the 37-year-old businessman from France took 7th and €12,557 in the €2,000 Open de France Main Event.  At the WPT Bucharest, he had his biggest cash to date when he won the €3,000 NLHE Championship Event for €144,530 and his first WPT championship.

Guillaume cashed at the EPT Grand Final in Monte Carlo, before cashing at the 2010 WSOP where he made the final table and finished 3rd in the $3,000 NLHE Triple Chance, earning $223,459. He finished the year by cashing at the Barriere Poker Tour Grand Final in Enghien, and taking 29th for €12,500 in the €5,000 NLHE EPT Prague.

Through the first 9 months of 2011, Guillaume had cashed 4 times. His first cash was at the Poker Grand Prix Grand Final in Saint-Vincent, and his next cash was at the WSOP, where he finished 35th in the Main Event to take home $242,636.

At the 2011 EPT Barcelona, Guillaume was one of 811 players to turn out for the €5,300 Main Event, the biggest poker tournament ever held in Spain. He would eventually finish 46th to pocket €16,000. Back home in France, he entered the €7,500 NLHE Grand Prix de Paris, where he finished 17th in the WPT Rendez-Vous à Paris for €33,330.
