As the authoritative poker ranking body, we at the GPI take pride in maintaining high standards in the pursuit of ensuring that poker is a clean and fair game for all concerned.

The players we include in the GPI are therefore individuals who enjoy the game of poker as much as we do and concur with such principals and standards.

However, from time to time and for various reasons, we feel that it is necessary, based upon objective reasoning, for certain players to be suspended or removed from the GPI.

We do not take the suspension or removal of players from the GPI lightly; although when we do so we believe that it is in the best interests of both poker and the GPI.

The removal of a player – on whatever basis - from the GPI is solely our decision to make. As a private organisation, the GPI will not be and excludes to the fullest extent permitted by law any liability, howsoever arising, in respect of any claims, losses or damages, which may be alleged by any individual or entity, due to our suspension or removal of a player from the GPI.
