WSOP Day 3 Round-Up, Negreanu’s WSOP Stats
Ivey Stalls as Liporace Rises on Day 3
Day 3 of this year’s WSOP Main Event got underway last night and while Phil Ivey was commanding most of the rail’s attention, it was Andrew Liporace that eventually stole the show.
Despite starting the session with the chip lead Ivey wasn’t able to reproduce the dominant form he showed on Day 2C and only manage to increase his stack by 50,000 chips (to 552,500).
While things were slower than expected for Ivey, Liporace was able to hit a rush of cards midway through the day and by the close of play he topped the daily leaderboard with 1,128,000 chips.
When Day 4 gets underway Liporace will lead the final 746 players towards the 694th place bubble which is expected to burst sometime within the first two levels.

Negreanu Analyses His WSOP
The World Series of Poker has been another huge success for Daniel Negreanu and thanks to some number crunching we now know just how successful it’s been.
According to the Canadian’s calculations his nine cashes at the 2014 WSOP, including his second place finish in the Big One for One Drop, have earned him more than $8 million.
When taking into account his outlay and hours at the felt that shows an impressive profit of $7,055,001 and an hourly win rate of $24,160/hr.
Beyond this, Daniel also analysed his performances throughout 2014 and discovered that after playing 44 tournaments (at a cost of $2,931,661) he’s made an overall profit of $7,315,482.
While Daniel’s results may have made him the biggest money winner of all time, he’s still 300 GPI points away from the top of the GPI 100.
Kid Poker is currently third on the leaderboard with 3,603.68 points behind Vanessa Selbst (3,874.87 points) and the overall leader, Ole Schemion (3,902.36 points).
However, with many more tournaments to go until the end of the year there’s still time for Daniel to climb to the top of the poker world’s tops tournament rankings.
