WSOPC Update, Colpoys Wins MSPT, Players Confirm for One Drop

WSOPC Bicycle Casino Nears Final Table

When the World Series of Poker Circuit Main Event began at the Bicycle Casino in Los Angeles, there were three starting days for the $1,675 buy-in event. Players were allowed one reentry each. The tournament drew a total of 756 entries, making for a prize pool of $1,134,000, surpassing the $1 million guarantee.

Day 2 played down into the money, with Will Failla ousted in 82nd place on the money bubble. Payouts then began with $2,825 minimum guaranteed, and players like Nancy Birnbaum, Chris DeMaci, and Tim West exited in the money. Action stopped with 13 players remaining and Nipun Java holding a massive chip lead with 3,155,000 chips.

Day 3 began with the eliminations of Piotr Brodzik, James Buckley, and Everett Carlton, at which point the unofficial final table was set. David Chase took over the lead at that point, with Java close behind.
