2014 GPI PoY: Bilokur, Pahuja, Schemion Into Top 5

BILOKUR JUMPS TO #2

Alex Bilokur GPIAlex Bilokur (GPI#13) pushes his way up to #2 on the Player of the Year charts this week, trailing our leader Keven Stammen (GPI#58) by just a little over 30 points.

Bilokur most recent successes came at EPT Sanremo, where he earned a 48th place finish in the EPT Main Event and cashed out in third place in the EPT High Roller.

The Russian pro has company inside the Top 5 as Mukul Pahuja (GPI#7), whom the WPT declared as their Player of the Year for Season XII on Wednesday, and EPT Sanremo High Roller Champion and new World #1 Ole Schemion (GPI#1) also jump into the Top 5 this week.

10 NEW FACES INSIDE THE TOP 25

Matt Stout GPISchemion is one of ten new faces to enter the Top 25 this week. A final table finish at the WPT Seminole Hard Rock Showdown sees American pro Matt Stout (GPI#28) enter the Top 25 this week. Stout, who’s also an accomplished player online, also reached his career peak on the GPI this week. He sits 28th in the World.

Double Aussie Millins prelim winner Mustapha Kanit (GPI#116), Oliver Price (GPI#179) and Benjamin Zamani (GPI#213) all make a return all make a return to the Top 25 this year. Kanit was ranked as high as #5 back in February.

Rasmus Agerskov (GPI#93), Alexander Kravchenko (GPI#97), Artur Koren (GPI#157), John Holley (GPI#173) and Atanas Kavrakov (GPI#266) all make their debut on the GPI PoY Top 25 this week:
