THE HEADLINES
›› Make it three weeks in a row at the top for Nick Petrangelo (World #1) who managed to extend his lead on David Peters (World #2)
›› John Racener (World #42) is enjoying a sneaky, yet solid, first half of the 2017 season earning him his highest ranking in well over five years
›› 2014 EPT Barcelona Main Event runner-up Samuel Phillips (World #286) enters the GPI300 for the first time of his career. Phillips is the only first-time entry this week
›› On the flip side, in an end of an era for Scott Clements (World #333), who drops from the 300 for the first in GPI history. Clements had been ranked inside the elite group since the GPI’s very first rankings release in June 2011
