August 2014 Player of the Month: Fedor Holz

Congratulations go out to Fedor Holz – Global Poker Index Player of the Month for August 2014:

An impressive total of five cashes at the EPT Barcelona Festival helped Germany’s Fedor Holz (GPI#377) claim Player of the Month honors for August.

His Barcelona performance included a €43,750 win in a No-Limit Hold’em 8-Max event and a 101st place showing in the EPT Main Event.

Holz moved up over 1,200 spots on the GPI World Poker Rankings during the month of August, putting him in a position to join the poker elite inside the Top 300 should his hot streak continue.

Holz was able to hold off the red-hot Daniel Colman (GPI#61), who won the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open for just under $1.5M this month. Colman also finished second in the Super High Roller event at EPT Barcelona but it just wasn’t enough for the Player of the Month crown.

Colman has earned over $21M so far in 2014.
