Global Poker Awards Announces 2019 Semi-Finalists and Opens Fan Voting

After a preliminary voting round, done by a panel of experts in each category, poker players, members of the poker industry and poker media, we’re proud to present you the semi-finalists for the Global Poker Awards 2019.

The Global Poker Index wants to thank all participating panel members for their votes and feedback in each of the categories. Selection was done by using a system similar to the Oscars, a mathematical equation is used to find the “magic number” for each category. To find the magic number, we take the total number of ballots submitted for the category and divide it by 5 (4 expected nominees +1) To read more about the exact voting process, please click here
