
Nominations announced for 4th Global Poker Awards
>> Two nominations for Jørstad, Kerstetter, Rampage, Marle Spragg

LAS VEGAS, February 2, 2023 – Voting panels in 17 categories have completed the voting process and nominees are now known for the 4th Global Poker Awards as four people earn double nominations:
Two-time Global Poker Award winner Jamie Kerstetter will get to defend her Best Twitter Personality title again this year. She’s also once again earned a nomination in the Best Broadcaster category.
World Series of Poker Main Event Champion Espen Uhlen Jørstad is nominated for his Main Event performance as well as in the Breakout Player category.
Vlogging sensation turned live tournament poker star Ethan “Rampage” Yau joins Jørstad in the Breakout Player category and is once again recognized for his vlogging work as a Best Vlogger nominee.
Not to be outdone, Marle Spragg also receives two noms – Media Content: Video for the popular Solvers. and for Best Twitter Personality, where she’ll compete with back-to-back Champ Kerstetter.
Stephen Song, already guaranteed to collect two trophies for GPI Player of the Year and GPI Mid-Major Player of the Year, could end up with two more as he’s up for Best Tournament Performance and Players Choice for Toughest Opponent.
Previous GPI Award Winners Stephen Chidwick, Paul Campbell, Mori Eskandani, Alex Foxen, Daniel Negreanu, Brad Owen, Jeff Platt, Matt Savage, Nick Schulman, Benjamin Spragg, Robbie Strazynski and Lex Veldhuis join Phil Galfond and Phil Ivey are some of the other notable nominees.
Voting continues for the GPA Fans Choice Awards. Fans can submit their first-round selections in four categories: Best Hand, Best Trophy, Fave Live Stream and Poker Personality. First round voting concludes on Monday, February 6th. The final four will be announced the next day and fans will once again be asked to vote.
