FPM Fallsview: Fantasy Hi-Five

FPM logoAfter a few year away, the World Poker Tour makes a return to Niagara Falls for the Fallsview Poker Classic.

Some of North America’s best – and a few top ranked European pros – are here to take a shot at the title. It’s important to note that the next two WPT events (here in Niagara Falls and the upcoming L.A. Poker Classic) only have a single Day 1 … so lineups lock the very next day – here are five players that are still in contention on Day 1 (as of press time) …

SCOTT CLEMENTS

Scott Clements GPIScott Clements (GPI#61) won the WPT North American Poker Championship Main Event here at Fallsview way back in Season 6 … he also won big in a 1K prelim event the year prior.

Clements also has two WSOP bracelets to go along with his WPT gold, adding the Washington seems like the smart thing to do given his past successes in Niagara Falls.

MIKE LEAH

Mike Leah GPISpeaking of winners, Mike Leah (GPI#161) earned his second six-figure score of the season earlier this week right here at Fallsview, winning the 1K prelim.

After a single victory on the live tournament circuit in 2013, Leah has already doubled his win-rate so far this season. The Canadian will certainly be looking to take advantage of the home-cooking and pickup yet another big win in his backyard.

BENJAMIN HAMNETT

Let’s continue adding winner to our team with the inclusion of former WPT Borgata Poker Open Champ Benjamin Hamnett (GPI#235).

Hamnet has enjoyed limited success on tour since his big win at Borgata, but has yet to earn another big score … perhaps a weekend by the Falls will help inspire a return to the winners circle.

TONY DUNST

Tony Dunst GPILet’s add yet another WPT Champions Club member to our squad. Recent WPT Caribbean winner Tony Dunst (GPI#954) is our next pick.

Dunst finally hit the mother load in St. Maarten and we’re hoping that he keep the momentum going with a big push in Niagara Falls. Seems like a perfect recipe to success if you ask us!

PETER JETTEN

Peter Jetten GPIAlthough he’s not a full time player on the live tournament circuit, Peter Jetten (GPI#2558) remains a serious threat any time he’s at a poker table.

Those who may be new to the game may not be overly familiar with Jetten, but don’t be fooled, with well over 2M USD in winnings on the circuit, Jetten could be the type of player to bring home the goods for your FPM team when play is completed Monday at the Fallsview.

Thinking of adding any of these five to your FPM team? Head on over to Facebook and signup to play the GPI Fantasy Poker Manager … lineups for the WPT Lucky Hearts Open lock on Sunday at 1pm ET! FPM is the official Fantasy game of the World Poker Tour and the World Series of Poker!
