FPM Jacksonville: Five Players for Your Consideration

FPM logoAfter a few months away from North America, the World Poker Tour returns with back-to-back-to-back events on the continent. Kicking things off is the WPT bestbet Jacksonville Fall Poker Scramble in Jacksonville, Florida. We offer a strong mix of five players who could help you hit the top of the pops on Fantasy Poker Manager:

JOE KUETHER

Joe Kuether GPIIf you tuned into the latest episode of the PokerNews GPI Update Podcast on Thursday, then you should already be sold on Joe Kuether (GPI#56) understanding that you’re not only picking him up for this event but instead investing in Kuether as he has announced that he will also be playing WPT Caribbean and WPT Montreal (and quite possibly the WPT Five Diamond at Bellagio) – all three events are just a few weeks apart so adding this type of player means that you save of fees and hopefully, you’ll be able to cash in on his success later this month.

Kuether’s Day 1A stack isn’t ideal but still very respectable (at 47K) but we remain convinced that making the move on Kuether is the right one to make!

MATT GLANTZ

Matt Glantz GPIWith Matt Glantz (GPI#63) you get the opportunity to add a player with a Top 10 chip count from Day 1A who just oozes tons of experience in live tournament poker.

The 2009 EPT London High Roller champ has collected close to 90 cashes on the live tournament earning over 4.8M USD in his career. Glantz doesn’t play the same tournament as others do on the circuit, if he did, you can rest assured that those career earnings would be well over the 5M mark.

Glantz ended Day 1A play with 120K chips.

DAVID PETERS

David Peters FPMThe #5 player in the world have a lot of chips after Day 1 play? Sign us up! There is no doubting David Peters’ (GPI#5) ability on the poker felt – both live and online.

Known as a quiet but deadly player, anytime you can add Peters to your lineup – and at a discount! (see below) – you would be crazy not to. In our latest GPInterview, Shannon Shorr (GPI#6) talked to us about just how good Peters is.

Peters ended Day 1A play with a little over 100K in chips.

BRIAN HASTINGS

Brian Hastings GPIThere is no doubt that Brian Hastings (GPI#480) is a contender anytime he sits at a poker table … but you may be confused as to why Hastings’ FPM Market Price is so low … the answer is simple. Hastings doesn’t play a full schedule on the live tournament circuit, in fact, he doesn’t play many live tournament at all.

That having been said, you should still seriously consider adding him to your team, he rarely disappoints, in fact, he finished 38th at the Fall Poker Scramble in 2012. One of the best online poker players in the world, Hastings will attempt to win big in the state he now calls home.

Hastings is currently involved in Day 1B play, keep an eye on his chip stack before making your final decision on him.

UPDATE: Hastings was eliminated during Day 1B play

DAVID TUTHILL

Hoping to piggy back off the successes of the Florida State University Seminoles football team, FSU student David Tuthill (GPI#172) will be looking to score big in his home state.

FPM managers were first introduced to Tuthill last February at the L.A. Poker Classic days after he scored the biggest win of his career at the WSOP Circuit stop at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. Tuthill would go on to finish eighth at the LAPC, making those who took an early gamble on him very, very happy.

Like Hastings, Tuthill is currently involved in Day 1B play, keep an eye on his chip stack before making your final decision on him.

UPDATE: Tuthill was eliminated during Day 1B play
