GPI300: All calm at the top as Barcelona begins

Top 8 stays the same as 100th EPT festival kicks off in Barcelona …

PAHUJA BACK IN TOP 10

Ole Schemion GPIThe more things change, the more they remain the same. The big three – Ole Schemion, Daniel Negreanu (GPI#2, -) and Dan Smith (GPI#3, -) continue to rule at the top of the GPI World Poker Rankings.

Each player has enjoyed success at EPT Barcelona – which kicked off earlier this week – in the past. With those points losing value, each player will be looking to replace those points with additional points this week in Barcelona. It will certainly be interesting to see what happens in the rankings should none of them earn any cashes.

No changes inside the Top 10 this week except at #9 and #10 as Mukul Pahuja (GPI#9, +6) makes a return to the Top 10 for the second time of his career. Pahuja was last ranked in the Top 10 back in April following a tremendous season on the World Poker Tour.

Although he drops down one, Jacob Schindler (GPI#10, -1) remains in the Top 10 for the second straight week. Schindler could be seeing another increase in points next week as he finished 10th in the Super High Roller event at EPT Barcelona.
