Four weeks after ending his record-setting 18-week run atop the Global Poker Index World Poker Rankings, Ole Schemion (GPI#1, +1) is back on top in this week’s update.

The German superstar has held the #1 spot for 17 of the first 21 weeks of 2015. He also moves past the 4,000-point mark for the first time since April 22, 2015.

Scott Seiver (GPI#2, -1) drops back to the second spot this week. Seiver, who many expect to play a full WSOP schedule, will be trying to regain the #1 spot starting later this week.

The arrival of the World Series of Poker could certainly make for a lot of movement at the top of the rankings as several players find themselves in a tight race.
