Hellmuth Chases Bracelet #14

PADDING HIS LEAD

The World Series of Poker’s winningest player, Phil Hellmuth (GPI#328), will attempt to win his 14th career WSOP bracelet later today in Las Vegas.

Hellmuth, who currently has three more bracelets than legends Doyle Brunson and Johnny Chan, is looking to pad his lead atop the bracelet rankings.

The past year hasn’t been to kind for Hellmuth, who has only collected a total of three cashes since leaving last year’s WSOP. He will attempt to right that wrong later today. A win could very well push him back into the GPI300, placing him in elite company amongst the Top 300 players in the World.

The 1989 WSOP World Champion is celebrating the 25th Anniversary of his monumental victory at this year’s event.
