Negreanu’s WSOP Bet, Suarez Joins 888Poker & Hellmuth’s Webinar

Negreanu’s Bracelet Bet

The WSOP is all about bagging as many bracelets as possible but last night Daniel Negreanu confirmed then he’ll be happy with just one.

In a tweet to his followers, Daniel stated that he is willing to accept bets at even money that neither he nor Phil Ivey will win a bracelet this year.

The minimum wager the deadly duo are willing to accept is $5,000 and if anyone has enough cash to spare they can bet up to $1 million against the proposition that neither player will win a title this summer.

As soon as the tweet hit the airwaves it attracted a slew of responses with initial investors willing to risk in the region of $20,000.

To make a wager Daniel instructed people to email his assistant at [email protected].

Suarez Joins 888Poker

Ahead of this year’s World Series of Poker, 888Poker has added a new member to its pro roster in the form of Liverpool bad boy Luis Suarez.

In keeping with the operator’s penchant for signing big name sports stars, Suarez was unveiled as the latest ambassador and will join the likes of Shane Warne and former UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre.

While the footballer hasn’t yet confirmed which tournaments he’ll be playing under the 888Poker banner, the rest of Team 888Poker, including Sofia Lovgren, will be in action this summer at the 2014 WSOP.

Learn from Phil Hellmuth

If you’re planning on playing the WSOP this year and want some advice on bagging a bracelet from the festival’s most successful player then make sure you tune into Phil Hellmuth’s forthcoming webinar.

Set to take place on Saturday and feature Jonathan Little, the online coaching session will reveal the tricks Mr. Hellmuth used to win a bracelet at the 2012 World Series of Poker Europe.

There’s no doubt Phil is a master when it comes to exploiting large fields full of weak players and now he’s prepared to share his secrets with anyone willing to watch his broadcast.

Commenting on the project, Phil said: “I’m really excited about this because I did some crazy things that I’ve worked my whole life to try to get away. I’m going to be talking about how I was able to basically run over the field.”

The coaching session will start at 20:00 UK time on May 17th and cost $99.
