Over 6,000 So Far in Millionaire Maker

MILLION DOLLARS, BABY

The World Series of Poker presents, for the second year in a row, the Millionaire Maker event. For $1,500, players compete for a guaranteed 1M USD first prize … that’s right, a million dolllars, baby!

Currently, over 6,000 players have registered to play the event, which kicked off at 11am Vegas time. Players who bust out of the first flight or those who weren’t able to register for the 11am event can enter for the second flight, starting at 5pm.

Last year’s event attracted 6,343 players, at this rate, this year’s numbers will shatter last year’s in the next few hours.

Vanessa Selbst, who won the $25,000 buy-in No-Limit Hold’em Mixed Max event for $871,148, is amongst the participants in the event. WSOP officials presented Selbst with her third gold bracelet earlier today in a bracelet ceremony.
