Jeff Madsen GPIAlthough it’s been pretty quiet on the live tournament circuit these past few weeks, Jeff Madsen (GPI#46) is heating up, right on time for the World Series of Poker. We talk about the three-time WSOP bracelet winner and his fourth win on the circuit this season at the HPT California State Poker Championship earlier this week outside Los Angeles. Madsen moves into 11th in the GPI Player of the Year race.

Also this week: make it 46 straight weeks inside the GPI Top 10 for World #1 Ole Schemion (GPI#1) … Sam Trickett (GPI#299) is stuck in the Tommy Veges Danger Zone … Byron Kaverman’s (GPI#3) rise inside the GPI300 this past year has been impressive … and four WPT Champions Club members take a tumble in this week’s rankings.
