Rick Salomon Leads WSOP One Drop, EPT Welcomes Chocolate Partner

Celebrity Husband Leads WSOP One Drop

Rick Salomon, the man who remarried Pamela Anderson earlier this year, is currently leading the WSOP’s $1 million One Drop event.

Despite not being as accomplished as some of his high stakes competitors, Salomon was able to outlast the likes of Sam Trickett, Phil Ivey and defending champion Antonio Esfandiari who fell by the wayside on Day 2.

Following a slew of high risk plays, including an impressive bluff against Christoph Vogelsang, Salomon was able to rake in 23,575,000 chips to finish ahead of Tobias Reinkemeier who got a late chip boost courtesy of Mr. Esfandiari.

Indeed, after Antonio moved all-in with Ad 5h Tobias made the easy call with As Jc and as the board ran out 9c Qd 6h Js 5d the reigning champ was sent home a few places short of the final table.

With the clock running out the organisers were forced to cut the day short just one place away from the money earlier today.

Despite players calling for the action to continue until the final eight was set, the decision was set which means tomorrow’s session will see nine hopefuls return tomorrow in a race for the $15,306,668 top prize.
