WPTN Brussels: My Official Team

FPM logoDay 2 has come and gone at WPTN Brussels and only a third of my runners remain!  The good news is that two of my remaining three players are in very good shape – the bad news is that a ton of other FPM participants have these two players as well!

I’m really crushed with Timothy Reilly (GPI: 278) being the bubble boy.  Although Reilly started the day with a short stack, he was able to turn that into an average stack in a few hours, sadly, he was unable to have A7 hold against T8 in a blind vs. blind battle and the bubble burst with the American sitting on the wrong side of the fence.

Let’s first take a look at the four players I had featured prior to the start of Day 2 play at Win2Day WPT National Series Brussels:
Note: chip stacks are approx. as reported by Poker52 and BelgiumPoker

Davidi Kitai Eliminated on Day 2 (read article)
Timothy Reilly Eliminated on Day 2 (read article)
Koen De Visscher: 461,000 chips (read article)
Benjamin Pollak: 315,000 chips (read article)

And now a look at my own official team for WPTN Brussels, which includes Kitai, Reilly, De Visscher and Pollak:

Koen De Visscher FPMTEAM DANIS (Player, Day 3 chip count)
Koen De Visscher: 461,000 chips
Benjamin Pollak: 315,000 chips
Christophe Pereira: 36,000 chips
Alain Roy Finished 43rd, Points TBA
Flavien Guenan Finished 47th, Points TBA
Davidi Kitai Eliminated on Day 2
Timothy Reilly Eliminated on Day 2
Brian Benhamou Eliminated on Day 2
Michel Abecassis Eliminated on Day 2

Davidi Kitai FPMAs I mentioned at the start of this article, I was really hoping that Reilly get things in gear on Day 2 – as he’s done in recent tournaments but alas, Reilly is out and I have to live with it.  Same goes for my “first” pick Davidi Kitai (GPI: 61).  I knew that Kitai was starting Day 2 with a small stack, but was hoping he pull what Nicolas Levi was able to do early on on Saturday, start small and gain a lot of chips … although Levi also bowed out during Day 2.

Alain Roy (GPI: 160) had a Top 3 stack to start the day but it seems like everything went wrong for him, although he, along with Flavien Guenan (GPI: 1068) will score me some points for their small cashes.

I also was expecting Michel Abecassis (GPI: 293) to go deeper in this tournament.  Abecassis is a consistent performer and I felt that he was in a great position to go further than others, alas, that didn’t happen.

The good news is that five of my nine runners will have scored points when all is said and done on Monday, and both Koen De Visscher (GPI: 256) and Benjamin Pollak (GPI: 1093) have a fantastic opportunity to go real deep in this event and thus giving me some more points!

Live and learn friends, live and learn 😉
