ACOP Down to 25, Lederer Home for Sale, New Team Online Additions

ACOP Reduced to 25 Players

When the Asia Championship of Poker Main Event began, there were a total of 203 players who ponied up the HK $100,000 buy-in at the PokerStars LIVE Macau poker room. Day 2 took the field from 169 players to 72.

Day 3 on October 31 reduced the field from 72 players to 25, all of whom were in the money. The money bubble burst at the end of the night when David Martirosyan was eliminated in 26th place, and the final 25 players bagged their chips. Jonathan Depa was the chip leader with a stack of 662K, followed by Peter Chan with 615K and Chenxiang Miao with 471,500 chips. Team PokerStars Online player Randy Lew, also known as nanonoko, was in fourth place with 420,500 chips, and Ro Woong Park rounded out the top five with 353,500.

Howard Lederer Puts House on Market

Vegas Magazine reported that Howard Lederer enlisted the help of high-stakes real estate in Las Vegas to sell his home. The house is located in the Summerlin area of Sin City in a luxurious private development.

The article states that Lederer spent more than $15 million on the mansion, complete with guesthouse and pool, but the sale price is listed at just under $9 million.

Ladouceur and Millar Join Team PokerStars Online

Team PokerStars Online recently announced the addition of two players to the ever-expanding team. Marc-Andre Ladouceur, who plays online as FrenchDawg, and Alex Millar, who is known at the PokerStars tables as Kanu7, were welcomed to the PokerStars roster.

Ladouceur and Millar each discovered poker during their university days, the former running home games and the latter playing online.

The players will be expected to use social media, personal blogs, and blogs for PokerStars to get to know their fans and encourage players to compete with them on PokerStars.
