Bowker Wins WSOPC Chester, HPT Adds Stops

Kyle Bowker Wins WSOPC Chester

The World Series of Poker Circuit was in Chester, Pennsylvania last week at Harrah’s Philadelphia. The $1,675 NLHE Main Event with reentries started on April 25 and drew a total of 336 entries for a $504K prize pool.

On Day 2, the field thinned from 107 through the money bubble to begin payouts for the top 36 and eventually on to the final table. That happened when Antonio Payne eliminated Andy Powderly in tenth place for $8,815.

Joe Kuether took a substantial lead into the final table on April 28, but one of the short stacks, Kyle Bowker, doubled up on his first hand and continued to gain momentum. Justin Liberto hung in there, eliminated Kuether in third place, and went into heads-up play against Bowker. The latter had the initial chip lead and extended it right on to the last hand and into the winner’s circle.

Results:

1st place: Kyle Bowker ($115,920)

2nd place: Justin Liberto ($71,664)

3rd place: Joe Kuether ($52,280)

4th place: David Bivins ($38,778)

5th place: Kevin Saul ($29,212)

6th place: Antonio Payne ($22,342)

7th place: Tim West ($17,338)

8th place: Thomas Cannuli ($13,648)

9th place: Anthony Minniti ($10,896)
