Mrs. Obama Asked to Help Poker Kitchen

The Poker Kitchen is a room at the Rio in Las Vegas with food options for players at the World Series of Poker. It offers everything from sodas and chips to salads and full meals provided by casino restaurants. But none of it is cheap.

One of the topics of conversation at the tournaments this year is the fact that a salad costs $16. It is a sizeable salad, not to mention a healthy alternative to burgers and other heavy options.

Eric Baldwin, a well-known poker player with a healthy sense of humor, tweeted at the beginning of the WSOP:

It doesn’t seem as if the First Lady of the United States, Michelle Obama, had time to tweet back, but Baldwin knows of her mission to get the country to eat healthier.

Fellow poker player Dan O’Brien followed up with her and President Barack Obama:

Again, no answer thus far.
