New PokerStars Pro; High Rollers Ready for PCA

PokerStars Add Russian to Pro Team

PokerStars has made a new addition to their online team in the shape of Russian pro, Tatiana “Mysters_Y” Barausova.

The online grinder has yet to make a name for herself on the live scene, but in a short space of time she’s moved from micro grinder to mid stakes Supernova Elite.

Having banked tournament scores in some of PokerStars’ toughest Sunday Majors, Tatiana is now looking to use her deal with the online poker room to improve your MTT game and climb the GPI rankings.

Now standing alongside the likes of Daniel Negreanu, Mickey Petersen and Jason Mercier, Tatiana is in a great position to develop her game and become yet another attractive female making a name for herself in the poker world.

Indeed, we recently featured an exclusive interview with another of PokerStars’ brightest female pros, Ana Marquez, who is already using her sponsorship as a way to advance her career, as well as the opportunities for women in the poker world.

Stars Align for PCA Super High Roller

As another year in poker gradually comes to an end, the game’s highest rollers are already turning their attentions to next year.

One of the first tournaments to catch the eye of those with deep pockets in 2013 is the PCA’s $100,000 Super High Roller.

With under a month to go, a list of 30 names has already been recorded by PokerStars; with 14 of them being made public.

One of the first names to appear on the roster is 2011 winner, Eugene Katchalov. He’ll be squaring off against some of the toughest players in the world when the tournament kicks off on January 5th.

One player whose name hasn’t appeared on the public listing yet is Viktor Blom. The Swedish star took down the tournament last year and will likely ante up his buy-in closer to the kick off.

Confirmed names for this year’s $100,000 PCA Super High Roller:

Jonathan Duhamel

Anthony Gregg

Bertrand Grospellier

Philipp Gruissem

Isaac Haxton

Phil Hellmuth

John Juanda

Eugene Katchalov

Tom Marchese

Jim McCrink

Jason Mercier
