Top 10 Seniors at 2014 WSOP

Poker is a game that has been around for many years. Those who often have the most dedication and passion for the game are older players, those who have played for most of their lives. They’ve seen the game go from kitchen tables and back rooms of bars to the biggest stage in the world.

Many seniors, classified as those 50 years of age and older, take their shots at the World Series of Poker each year. At the 2014 WSOP, quite a few were in the large tournament fields and all looking for the same thing as the young guns – that coveted gold WSOP bracelet.

Through the first 25 events of 65-tournament schedule, seniors have taken home more than $3 million thus far. The top 10 earners in the first few weeks of the Series are:

1. Dan Heimiller ($637,867)

2. James Duke ($614,368)

3. Donald Maas ($388,054)

4. Alfred Decarolis ($290,622)
