Top 10 Young Guns at 2014 WSOP

The young players under 30 years old in poker are typically referred to as young guns. They are often fresh to the game, excited and confident. Others have been playing since college and become quick stars in the game. They feel they have the edge in the game over older players.

They come to the World Series of Poker each year with money in their pockets and a lot of gamble in their hearts. And some walk away with quite a nice profit as a result.

Through the first 25 events of the 2014 WSOP, which has 65 events in total, more than $4 million has been won by players under 30. The top 10 on that list so far are:

1. Justin Bonomo ($691,503)

2. Jason Mo ($538,308)

3. Andrew Teng ($465,972)

4. Kyle Cartwright ($362,652)

5. Bradley Anderson ($355,913)

6. Dominik Nitsche ($338,033)

7. Nick Kost ($323,638)

8. Jeffrey Smith ($323,125)

9. Gordon Vayo ($318,598)

10. Randy Ohel ($313,715)
