WSOP-C Continues, DeepStacks Underway

WSOP-C Rincon Nears Main Event

The World Series of Poker Circuit Rincon series of tournaments was in full swing in the San Diego area in California. Event 6 found 135 players in the $365 NLHE tournament and Jimmy Nguyen as the winner for $11,341, and Event 7 was a $365 NLHE 6-Handed endeavor with Valentin Vornicu as its champion, which was worth $10,858. Both players received WSOP-C rings.

The Main Event will require a $1,675 buy-in and is set to begin on December 14. The four-day event features two starting days and reentries allowed on Day 1B for players who bust on Day 1A.

DSPT in Bethlehem

The DeepStacks Poker Tour was preparing for action at the Sands Casino in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Preliminary events began on December 5, but the $2,500 buy-in NLHE Main Event was set to begin on December 14. With a $500K guarantee, players will be allowed to reenter the tournament, and two starting days kick off the four-day tournament.
