WSOP Set to Air, GPI’s Latest Purchase

ESPN’s WSOP TV Schedule Released

For those suffering from post-WSOP blues, a chance to relive all the highlights of the summer is just a few days away.

In the last 24 hours it’s just been announced that ESPN’s coverage of the 2013 WSOP will begin on Tuesday July 30.

While the main programming begins later tonight with the final table of the Asia-Pacific Main Event final table, the WSOP’s National Championship will be shown next week.

Following a double dose of National Championship action, the third day of the Main Event will be aired on August 8th.

Although coverage will be reserved for those with access to ESPN, it’s likely that full episodes of the shows will find their way online a few days after their release.

Coverage of this year’s WSOP Main Event will run until October 29th.

The GPI’s Family Grows

If you haven’t already heard the news, the GPI recently expanded its family with the purchase of TheHendonMob.com.

Known as the industry’s most comprehensive tournament database, the Hendon Mob’s site has also become a popular community portal for many British and European grinders.

The new deal will see the GPI continue the fantastic work the site has produced over the last few years as well as introduce a selection of exciting new features.
