WSOPC New Orleans Update, APPT Macau Begins

WSOPC New Orleans Preliminaries

The World Series of Poker Circuit was in New Orleans, Louisiana at Harrah’s for its last series stop of the 2013/2014 season. The preliminaries had been underway since May 8, and numerous players collected gold WSOP rings.

Event 1: $365 NLHE winner Louis George ($20,233)

Event 2: $365 NLHE winner Larry Hirons ($22,909)

Event 3: $365 PLO winner David Nicholson ($10,441)

Event 4: $365 NLHE Reentry winner Austin Apicella ($42,933)

Event 5: $365 NLHE winner Matthew Batoon ($17,174)

Event 6: $365 NLHE winner Justin Booth ($19,586)

Event 7: $365 NLHE 6-Handed winner Jonathan Hart ($21,144)

Event 8: $365 NLHE winner Tim West ($21,291)

Event 9: $365 NLHE Turbo winner Brett Reichard ($3,405)

APPT Macau Ready to Go

The Asia Pacific Poker Tour was at the City of Dreams in Macau late this week, offering preliminary events and satellites. Action kicked off on May 14 and was scheduled to run through May 25.

Players were already gearing up for the APPT Main Event, which requires a HKD $25,000 buy-in and officially starts on May 21 in the PokerStars LIVE poker room.
