WSOPE Cannes Event #1: First Bracelet For Imed Ben Mahmoud

The first event at the 2012 World Series Of Poker Europe has ended. Imed Ben Mahmoud makes history becoming the first ever Tunisian to win a gold bracelet at the World Series Of Poker.

He began day 3 6th in chips, but never put his stack at risk unless he was certain he had the best hand. He managed to make his way to the heads up against Frenchman Yannick Bonnet, and finally put his chips in one last time. His Jacks held against Bonnet’s Ace King and the Tunisian champion could celebrate with his friends, €147,099 richer and proud owner of a gold bracelet.
