Maria Ho and Drea Renee to host Global Poker Awards

Las Vegas – February 27, 2020 — The 2019 Global Poker Awards has a face, two of them, in fact. The Global Poker Index (GPI) and The Hendon Mob (THM) are pleased to announce that Maria Ho and Drea Renee will host the celebration. The two well-known poker community members will be tasked with emceeing the event on March 6 inside the PokerGO studio at Aria Resort & Casino.

Renee is back in familiar territory after co-hosting the awards show in 2019 with Ali Nejad. Ho was present last year as well, receiving the award for Broadcaster of the Year.

Ho and Renee are no strangers to the spotlight. Both appear in various episodes of on-demand content on PokerGO. Ho has also been in front of the camera as a break desk commentator during the World Series of Poker’s Main Event coverage from 2017-2019 along with other poker broadcasts and esports events.

With their shared experience and presence on stage, GPI/THM is excited and confident together they will put on a great show.
