A new Queen and a new King to be crowned later today once GPI rankings are released… 

SELBST PUSHES PAST SCHEMION

It’s official, Vanessa Selbst will become the 8th player to sit at the very top of the GPI300 once rankings are released later today.

While Ole Schemion has decided to wait before making his WSOP debut, Selbst has been hard at work winning a bracelet in the 25K Mixed Max event and cashing in the Omaha/Stud event. After four straight weeks at #2, Selbst finally takes over the #1 spot on the GPI300 – congratulations, Vanessa!

BILOKUR AHEAD IN PoY RACE

Not to be outdone, Alex Bilokur has taken over the Player of the Year race. After being on top for months, Keven Stammen sees the Russsian move past him in the race for 2014 GPI PoY. Bilokur won his first ever WSOP bracelet in the 10K Pot-Limit Hold’em event that wrapped-up over the weekend.
