EPT London: Final Table | Rossiter Controls Own Destiny

The final table is set at EPT London and its Aussie standout Jeffrey Rossiter (GPI#51) who has the chip lead:

AUSSIE AUSSIE AUSSIE

Jeffrey Rossiter GPIWe’ve been saying that it was Rossiter’s time to take the ball and roll with it for a few days now, it just seemed as if this was a golden opportunity for the #1 ranked player in Australia. Rossiter, who won big at the Asia Championship of Poker late last season and finished third at the 2011 Aussie Millions, will carry the chip lead into final table play on Saturday.

This is obviously the biggest moment in Rossiter’s career on the live tournament circuit.

Another curious name at the final table is veteran Norwegian pro Jan Sjavik (GPI#1241). Sjavik has tons of experience on the live tournament circuit – his first WSOP score came back in the Binions days in 2000. He collected three cashes at this summer’s WSOP.

CANADIANS TAKE OVER THE HIGH ROLLER

Sorel MIzzi GPIWith final day play also set for Saturday in the High Roller event, it’s a trio of Canadians who hold the top 3 spots … each with over 1M in chips. Carla Sabini (GPI#1118) will lead the way on Saturday. The former Heartland Poker Tour winner will be followed closely by EPT regulars Jason Lavallee (GPI#671) and Sorel Mizzi (GPI#19).

The legendary Devilfish Dave Ulliott (GPI#1951) and Luca Pagano (GPI#4990) are a few of the names still in contention as the final 12 players are set to play down to a winner later on Saturday!
