Fantasy Poker Manager Named Official Fantasy Game of the World Series of Poker

The World Series of Poker® (WSOP®) and Zokay Entertainment, parent company of the Global Poker Index™ and Fantasy Poker Manager™, have entered into an exclusive, three-year agreement appointing Fantasy Poker Manager the official fantasy poker game of the WSOP.

The agreement furthers the Global Poker Index’s goal of bringing poker players and fans closer together, while also promoting poker as a competitive sport.
“It is an honor for us to be recognized as the exclusive fantasy game of the World Series of Poker,” said Alexandre Dreyfus, CEO of Zokay Entertainment. “We plan to continue our investment into Fantasy Poker Manager to make sure that poker fans get the best fantasy poker experience possible and are completely entertained during this year’s WSOP.”

The WSOP will assist in the promotion of Fantasy Poker Manager through its available channels, helping to bring Fantasy Poker Manager to an even broader group of poker fans in North America, Europe, Africa, Australia and Asia. In addition, Fantasy Poker Manager and Global Poker Index staff will be out in full force at the WSOP in Las Vegas this summer to provide assistance, updates and news to the players and fans.
The WSOP partnership with Fantasy Poker Manager also extends to the top Global Poker Index ranked players, who will receive special benefits and privileges to be announced before the start of this year’s WSOP.
Fantasy poker enthusiasts can “practice” for this summer’s WSOP ahead of time by setting up their team for the WSOP Asia Pacific event, which begins Thursday, April 4th. Teams can be drafted at http://apps.facebook.com/fantasypokermanager/.
Fantasy Poker Manager is a Facebook-based, free-to-play social game powered by the Global Poker Index. The game applies fantasy sports-like competition to live poker tournaments, providing a unique opportunity to engage with other users and poker professionals alike.
Fantasy Poker Manager launched in beta less than two months ago and immediately became the most popular fantasy poker game on Facebook, attracting 20,000 users – including the vast majority of the Global Poker Index’s Top 300 players. Fantasy Poker Manager plans to have over 100,000 teams by the end of the WSOP this summer.
