GPI First Look: bwin WPT Prague

The poker world stays in Prague as it’s the World Poker Tour’s time to complete their schedule for 2013:

TRIPLE HEADER

Jonathan Roy GPIWith so many players still in contention at EPT Prague, it’s important to note that bwin WPT Prague will offer players a total of three day ones. Hack, that’s great news for defending WPT Prague winner Marcin Wydrowski (GPI#153) who is still in contention in the EPT Main Event … other players, such as Jonathan Roy (GPI#147) and Ludovic Lacay (GPI#133), are currently in the same predicament as the defending champ. Having an extra day to enter the tournament will certainly help.

Marvin Rettenmaier GPIWorld #3 Marvin Rettenmaier (GPI#3) wasn’t as lucky as others as he suffered a tough beat to end his EPT tournament. Rettenmaier, Amanda Musumeci, Shannon Shorr, Joe Kuether, David Vamplew and Philippe Ktorza are just a few other players who are expected to play the event … a total of 567 players entered last year’s event, there is no reason to believe that those numbers will go down this year.

WPT IN KOREA

The World Poker Tour is also hosting its very first event in South Korea starting on Sunday. The WPT Club Phoenix in Jeju. Part of the tournament series will include the conclusion of the WPT National China final table which started last month at the MGM Grand Sanya.
