We take you to Niagara Falls, Nottingham, Cebu, Los Angeles, Switzerland, Pittsburgh and Baton Rouge in this week’s GPI Tournament Report:
WPT FALLSVIEW POKER CLASSIC
Canadian Matthew Lapossie (GPI#-) used his home-ice advantage to take down the WPT Fallsview Poker Classic Main Event in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada. Lapossie, a former EPT Barcelona final table participant, also cashed earlier in the series at Fallsview, earning his first two cashes on the live tournament circuit in almost five years.
Dylan Wilkerson (GPI#669) worked very hard for his runner-up finish and earn the biggest score of his career on the live tournament circuit.
Shawn Cunix, Michael Watson, Peter Jetten, Mark Radoja, Fallsview 1K prelim event winner Mike Leah and Curt Kohlberg all cashed in the event.

WPT FALLSVIEW CLASSIC PRELIMS
There were also some big winners in prelim events at the Fallsview Poker Classic. In the $2,500 prelim, American pro Pratyush Buddiga (GPI#215) held off the Canadian charge in order to earn, surprisingly, the first victory of his career on the live tournament circuit. Recent WSOP November Niner Marc Etienne McLaughlin (GPI#801) was amongst the players who cashed in the event.
In the 1K prelim, Mike Leah (GPI#161) would end taking it down, earning his second six-figure score – and second victory – so far in the 2014 poker season. Former Fallsview Poker Classic prelim event winner Nicky Evans and back-to-back WPT Montreal final table participant Sylvain Siebert also cashed in the event. Siebert also finished 6th in the 2,500 event.
