Chris Moorman WPTChris Moorman’s already impressive résumé certainly became even more impressive on Thursday night when finally broke through on the live tournament circuit, earning his first major victory at the WPT L.A. Poker Classic.

Moorman’s victory comes a little over two years after collecting a pair of runner-up finishes in majors events – the 10K NLH Six Max Championship at the 42nd World Series of Poker in 2011 and later that year in the Main Event at WSOP Europe.

Moorman is not only one of the top players on the live tournament circuit, he is also one of the best online tournament players ever, currently holding the #1 rank on the PocketFives Online Poker Rankings, this for the 12th time in his career. Moorman has also crossed the 10M USD mark in online winnings and owns an unprecedented 20 PocketFives online Triple Crown badges.

Throughout his career Moorman has carried himself with class and distinction and remains one of the game’s shining stars, on and off the felt. Congratulations to Chris on joining the WPT Champions Club!
